lacrosse looking to bounce back after a disappointing season 3 locampaign the millersville university lacrosse team will have 10 returning letter winners to provide leadership and experience . coach barbara waltman's squad features a premier laxer m senior center/attack wine nicole bover who registered a team-high 38 goals last spring en route to earning psac and ncaa-ii all-american honors for the second straight season boyer enters her senior year with 81 career goals and twice she has led the ville m scoring also returning is senior attacker courtney el vanian 9 1 career goals who shared point leadership honors with boyer last spring 41 ) and who led the club m assists with 12 elvanian earned ncaa-ii all american laurels and made a suc cessful comeback from a knee injury sustained early m the 95 season millersville also has four other veteran scoring threats m senior cen ter/attack wing bethany fromm 1 1 goals senior home tammy dixon nine goals junior attacker tami wenger(l 1 goals and junior home attack wing corey sell four goals junior lucie capuano eight goals m 95 and senior kelly smith also re turn for the marauder offensive unit the black and gold will aim to improve defensively behind a vet eran corps that includes senior point kristen feusner juniors erin o brien point/cover point and amy zahurak third man and sophomores andrea downes third man/defensive wing and kate la    arr defensive wing attack wing the battle to succeed the gradu ated alison coleman between the posts will be between junior laura millersville 3 win regional super hoops intramurals   recreation by ron kummerer   jim murphy snapper staff writers teams from as many as 30 re gional colleges and universities com peted m the 13th annual schick su per hoops regional tournament sixteenof these regional tournaments are being held across the country the tournament now involves 600 participating schools and over 200,000 students millersville university was repre sented m the schick 3 on 3 tourna ment m kutztown on march 8 there was a men's team and women's team represented they made the trip to kutztown due to winning millersville s 3on 3 tourna ment the women team the dream team had no problem winning the championship they put up a 7-0-1 record m kutztown and took the championship with not much trouble the team members were misty nee sonia hoop wilson and stepanie bennett the men at kutztown didn't do as good however congratulations to the revolution timmy smith bj spigelmyer and john king for mak ing the trip they posted a 0-4-1 record they were eliminated by a new york team with great skills the competition was really good up there said smith after the game the dream team above left to right misty nee sonia wilson and stephanie bennett regional champions 7-0-1 defeated esu tournament reminds us what's good in basketball i was watching the evening work news last week ( a.k a sportscenterj and nba highlights were on as a basketball fan i love high lights what makes it even better my beloved celtics were on it hap pened to be the game that they were outscored 19-0 to open the game against the atlanta hawks when the announcer said thank god for marty conlon  afterconlon opened the celtic scoring i knew that the nba was not fulfilling my basketball needs since the nba can't satisfy me i needed to find an alternate source of stimulation well the ncaa bas ketball tournament is satisfying my need in fact i'm spent there is nothing better than march madness no one can predict what is going to happen no one can predict who is going to win no one can predict anything the only thing you can predict is that cbs's clark kellogg is not going to sleep he is constantly on tv rest up clark thursday will be here soon i spent endless hours analyzing deliberating and scrutinizing my picks for what only to have geor gia lose in the first round tennesse chatanooga to make it to the sweet 1 6 and for me ... to lose three bucks   i tried to figure out the sure bets an upset or two and a dark horse -
